EXPLORING THE SAN JUAN ISLANDS

Six and a half hours after we left Seattle, we arrived in the San Juan Islands. The Inside Passage includes one thousand islands. We enjoyed exploring Friday Harbor and Roche Harbor for a few days. The Harbor towns were quaint and beautiful, with flowers everywhere. The highlight of the trip was chasing and photographing the Minke whales.
