My husband and I have a love story that feels straight out of a rom-com, and it all started in sunny Key West, FL. Get ready for this wild ride: I spent a whole year exploring the world with my family on our boat, cruising from Alaska all the way down to Key West. So, after a year at sea, we finally docked, and who’s there to help us tie up? My future husband, the captain of the boat next to ours! Talk about a reel catch—was it destiny or just some really well-placed dock lines?

We spent an amazing 12 years living the dream in the Florida Keys, running yacht and fishing charters. But as much as we loved life on the water, we felt it was time to trade in our captain’s hats for cowboy hats and be closer to family. That’s when my best friend dropped a game-changing idea: his childhood home was for sale and it was also a wedding venue! So, we jumped from nautical to agricultural, swapped the ocean for the farm life. Here we are, three years later, with a growing family, a little boy named Gunner, who’s already showing signs of becoming a pint-sized cowboy, and an even bigger farm family. Yeehaw
